Nick holds a PhD in Environmental Science and Technology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) where he investigated the potential of expanding the use of environmental, material and bio-economic factors in energy transition decision making. Prior to this he completed a Master of Environmental Studies (Cities & Sustainability) degree at the UAB and Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) and a Bachelor of Engineering (Environmental) degree at the University of Queensland. His current research focus is on the modelling of the energy transition and electric vehicle implementation, particularly with respect to critical raw materials, circularity and life cycle assessment aspects.
